How to Make Barongko Sweet Traditional Cake



Hello guys!!


        This time I will give you the most favorite cake recipe. This cake is a typical food of Makassar which is also a favorite in my family. Of course Because  taste  is good and soft. So the cake  called  Barongko based of Banana, so for you who have a lot of bananas in your house, you can try to make Barongko from the Banana it  just stay up to rotten, more better if you try it with your friends or your family. So to make Barongko we need Materials such as 1 Banana mashed ripe combo, 70 grams of sugar, 1/4 can of sweetened condensed milk, 4 eggs, 400 ml coconut milk from 1/2 grated coconut and 1/4 tsp salt . So the materials are quite easy to find in nearby markets. The tools we use are Banana leaves, Knives, blender, cormorant for steaming.

After that we go to the stage of making Barongko firstly Peel the banana and then cut into pieces, then discard the middle so as not to disturb the color when it is cooked,

Afterwards Put all the ingredients into the blender then blend until smooth, after that Wrap with banana leaves according to your taste, and the last steam Barongko until ripe for 20 minutes. After banana leaf color become brown, remove and ready to serve. This trick is easy for you, so  guys lets try.
