How to Make Buras (Indonesian Traditional Food)




Buras or Burasa (Bugineese) is a traditional food from Sulawesi especially Makassar. In Makassar there is two suku those are Bugineese and Makassarnese. But now, I will explain about how to make Buras Makassar. But Actually we can say that Buras and Burasa is same.  Only the pronounciation and the writing differentiate it. 

Before we make the Buras, we have to prepare the ingredients. Those are 1 liter of good quality rice, 3 bay leaves (washed), 3/4 liter of coconut milk, salt adequately, Banana leaves for wrap up the Buras, adequately.

And then, steam the rice that we wash before. Steam it until completely clean and its half cooked. After that, take it and put it into basin. Then, pour the coconut milk, add the salt, and bay leaves to the half cooked rice. After that, mix it nicely until the coconut milk seep to the half rice cooked rice.

Next, resteam it until cook completely and soft for 15-20 minutes. Then raise it. After that take the Buras rice for covered with banana lAnnyeong d then tie it (use string of raffia) 3-4 knots. Do this untill the end of process or untill all the Buras rice covered with all banana leaves. The size for 1 Buras is rectangle form, we can tie 3 or 4 wrap of Buras together.

Then, resteam the Buras again for 40 minutes. After that, raise it and put it into a place and....
Ready to reserved!

Go!Try to make it if you have leisure time. Because Buras, we need more time to make and cook it. Don't forget to comment after you practice it. Annyeong. ^_^

How to Make Soto Ayam






This is the second recipe and how to make Soto Ayam. The ingredients we need, those are 500 gr chickens chest, 250 or cabbage, 250 gr soun,  items chicken's egg, 2 slices bay leaf, 2 slices orange's leaf, 4 sheets of Leek, 1 lemongrass. 1 segment galangal, 2 orange, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp broth powder.

After prepare the main ingredients, we need also to prepare the flavour. Those are 2 segmentz ents grilled turmeric, 1 segment grilled ginger, 1 tsp Coriander, 5 candle nut,  5 cloves onion, and 5 cloves garlic.

After prepare the ingredients and the flavour, we move to the first step to make Soto Ayam. Boiled the chicken with galangal and Lemongrass, add some water, and wait until it cooked and until the water boiled. And then, boiled the soun untill it cooked and boiled the chicken's eggs also until it cooked (different place with soun). After that, blend the Flavour untill smooth. Then  heat the oil, saute the flavour until its fragrant and put also the Orange's leaves, bay leaves, and the lemongrass into it.

And then strain the broth, set aside the boiled chicken's chest then slice the chicken into small size and put it in the different place. And then re-enter the broth, add the flavour (that we have made previous) to the boiled water and put in the leeks also with it.

Then add the Salt, broth powder and sugar (suitable with your desire). After that slice the cabbage or cauliflower. And Put it into a bawl. And then, put in the Soun, small sizes chicken also then put those are into the same bowl with the cauliflower. After that, Put a boiled egg, fried union, and add liquid citrus (if you want / optional). And then the Soto Ayam is ready to reserved.

How to Make Barongko Sweet Traditional Cake



Hello guys!!


        This time I will give you the most favorite cake recipe. This cake is a typical food of Makassar which is also a favorite in my family. Of course Because  taste  is good and soft. So the cake  called  Barongko based of Banana, so for you who have a lot of bananas in your house, you can try to make Barongko from the Banana it  just stay up to rotten, more better if you try it with your friends or your family. So to make Barongko we need Materials such as 1 Banana mashed ripe combo, 70 grams of sugar, 1/4 can of sweetened condensed milk, 4 eggs, 400 ml coconut milk from 1/2 grated coconut and 1/4 tsp salt . So the materials are quite easy to find in nearby markets. The tools we use are Banana leaves, Knives, blender, cormorant for steaming.

After that we go to the stage of making Barongko firstly Peel the banana and then cut into pieces, then discard the middle so as not to disturb the color when it is cooked,

Afterwards Put all the ingredients into the blender then blend until smooth, after that Wrap with banana leaves according to your taste, and the last steam Barongko until ripe for 20 minutes. After banana leaf color become brown, remove and ready to serve. This trick is easy for you, so  guys lets try.

BLACK BUGINESSE STICKY RICE CAKE/KUE BUGIS KETAN HITAM




Hi!!! Guys this time there is a recipe of food that usually made in my village if again gathered together my family is BLACK BUGINESSE STICKY RICE CAKE. Yups of this cake are usually served in hot conditions with a cup of tea or hot coffee also in the morning. Imagine it already makes remember the hometown again so want to quickly go home hahahaha.

So for you I would gladly like to share recipes to make this very tasty cake.

But, first of all many materials that must be prepared are 300 Gram of White Glutinous Flour, 150 Gram of Black Sticky Flour, 150 Grams of Steamed Potato Then Then Unscrewed, 45 Gram Sugar Sand, 3/4 teaspoon salt, 300 Milli Santan (I Wear Instant Santan Hot Water, Warm), 1 1/2 Sdt Cooking Oil, Coconut core materials: 300 Gram Young Coconut Shell Cleansed the epidermis skin, 120 Gram Sugar Sand (Customized to Your taste), Salt to taste, 4 Pandan Leaf Sheets, 150 Ml Water.

Second step, we can mix sugar to white sticky rice flour. Then, Put the black sticky rice flour and give the salt. Stir well all dry ingredients.

Third Step, Put the mashed potatoes, knead gently with a spoon so the potatoes blend with the flour. Then, pour the warm coconut milk bit by bit while stirring with a spoon continued with the hand to flat ... ^^

Four Step, Add the cooking oil and knead it back up to calf. To cook oil is to make the dough not sticky. Once it's calm and not sticking it is ready to use ... Now make the point .. ^^

Next step, Prepare a clean container to make the core of  ya ... This time I want to make a white coconut trell aja, originally use brown sugar mixed with grated coconut sugar. After that, add the pandan leaves and water. Give enough salt to make it more tasty ...

Then,  Cook over medium heat until the coconut milk is a bit dry ... Do a tasting test ... Let it cool. Wear oil-smeared roses, pick up enough, round and then flatten, place on the bottom of the mold, press gently to solid, then add the coconut strand.

After that, Close it again with the bunny cake dough, in the same way, round it first flattened and hold over. After simply wearing a rose mold is continued with the usual model. So that the dough does not stick in hand, give the spread of cooking oil on the palm of the hand yes ... Guaranteed not stuck hahaha ... ^^

Next step, Place the buginesse cake on the cookie cake that has been smeared with cooking oi. Do not forget that the same sphere mending weighed. Heat the steamed, steamed for 15 minutes until cooked, if you do not have a tart cake flavor enough layers of filter with a banana leaf smeared with cooking oil. Then, Prepare a young banana leaf, tear it in moderation and give a little oil.

How to Make Buras (burasa) typical For Lebaran


On this occasion, because we are now in Ramadan so we will discuss one of the famous cuisine during Lebaran will arrive that is BURASA. Surely our ears are familiar with this complementary food. Well to create a special burasa for Lebaran following way:

First step, like usually prepare the ingredients are 1 ltr rice or it's up to you how much you want to provide rice, 1 ltr of coconut milk or 4 glasses  of coconut milk, Salt, Bay leaves / Pandan leaves, Banana leaves / which have been dried to the brim provide as much as possible, Rope and Scissor.
Second step,Clean the rice first and wash it clean. So that the rice will not stink and stale quickly.
Third step, Boil the coconut milk with bay leaves/pandan leaves stirring until boiling.
Then, Steamed rice that has been cleaned together with coconut milk mixed with bay leaves / pandan leaves until half cooked (REMEMBER until the water is gone). hahaha
Next step, is place on a container to be wrapped in banana leaves that have been scissors to size. But cut it out do not while dreamily thinkin ex you, later instead your own finger you cut. Peace guys!!!
After that, Arrange the two or two can also be up to three face length ± 1½ fingers, the width of 1 thumb and tie at both ends and steam back ± 1 hour (keep the bonds unattached when cooking becomes bad).
Finally, If the leaves are flat and oily (shiny) marked buras ripe (the longer cooked the better), then Chill and serve with chili sauce.

If there can be served with Satay Spice Salad, Sweet Sate Satay, Meatballs, Coto, Dendeng Beef  or Serundeng. Wow imagine it was made hungry especially if you've made a can-be before the meat is finished first hahahaha.

How to Make an Indonesian Chicken Soto/ Soto Ayam by Boarding House Boys


What's up guys??? 
Today, i am gonna share information about one of the most delicious Indonesia Traditional Food that is Indonesian Chicken Soto or Indonesian Peoples says Soto Ayam and how to make it to be simple to cook.
every person in Indonesia must to know this food, because sell in almost in every food stalls in entire Indonesia region with cheap price. So, Anyone can buy it either a person with a lot of money or who only have money makeshift. hahahaha Peace bro!!!!
But, we can't buy it all the time because it can make money run out more faster then usually. So, why we can't make it in our home or your boarding house for the students with cheaper ingredients and can be purchased in the market. That more better than we always go out to the food stalls and order this food while waiting a long time. We are lucky if we can get it quickly, but if it has come all the way but Soto Ayam has turns out. you must to be up set or angry to your self hahahaha.
Well, now i will share information how to cook the Indonesian chicken soto or Soto ayam to you guys!!! so check this out!!!
The first thing, you must to do are prepare the ingredients. that are Chicken Appropriate tastes (I buy quater, But, the chicken as you wish), Water 800ml (or all you can do),  Chicken Broth Spice, Indofood Instant Seasoning Soto, Leek, Toge, Cabbage, Tomato, Lime, White Noodle, Boiled eggs. And the Garnish are Chili Spicy, Celery and fried Onions (if you have or you like).
The second step, you must to boil the chicken with 800ml water and chunks of lime. Wait until the chicken is perfectly cooked.
The third step, Sauté Indofood Instant Seasoning Soto Ayam until fragrant. Then input the stir in the boiling water and bring to a boil. (But, if don't like you can change the other instant seasoning).
The four step, After boiling input of chopped onion and turn off the fire. That because i use fried onions
Then, wash all the vegetables. Tata toge, sliced cabbage, chicken pieces, white noodles, tomato slices and boiled eggs in halves. To avoid germs inside the vegetables.
After that, give garnish pieces of Spicy Chili, Celery and fried onions. But, if don't like the fried onions or celery and spicy chili, because you are a person who does not like to eat spicy food just skip this step and change your ornament with the ingredients do you want.
And Finally, pour the soup soto, accompany with chunks of lime and warm rice.
Well, your Soto Ayam is ready to serve.

SOTO AYAM YELLOW SPICY



Hello friends!!

            This time I will give a recipe for your fasting menu, Soto Ayam is a fasting menu that is suitable for you who like the gravy food . Soto Ayam is a food that exists in every region in our country. Taste and also the appearance of chicken soup in each area is also very different. It's just that there are additional ingredients and also how to cook a little different so that chicken soup looks more varied. So for you guys who want to try for make a Soto Ayam is tasty and delicious. Maybe this is the right reading for you guys.
            Well guys to make chicken soup we need to prepare is the first ingredients that is 1 chicken tail that has been cleaned, 200 grams of  been sprouts that has been boiled, 200 grams of cabbage that has been in small slice, 50 grams of soun (soaked in hot water), 2 fresh tomatoes, 4 boiled potatoes, 3 boiled eggs, 2 liters of water, and fried onions.
            After the main ingredients are ready then for the seasoning we prepare 2 bay leaves, 2 stalks lemongrass, 2 spring onions 2 tablespoons cooking oil and 25 grams galangal.
            Besides, our friends also need mashed ingredients such as 5 grams of turmeric, 15 grams of ginger, 3 cloves of onion and 2 cloves of garlic, 4 pieces of pecans, 2 tablespoons of salt, 1 teaspoon of pepper.    
            The ingredients and the spices are ready for us to go to how to make chicken soup, the first stir the spices that have been in puree to produce a fragrant aroma, after that boiled chicken in the pan together with the spices that have been in Stir fry, then add the galangal, bay leaf, lime leaves, and lemongrass leaves into the chicken stew, after the chicken meat began to tender, add salt and pepper according to your taste into the chicken stew, after that, when the chicken is tender, separate the chicken from the bone , Then return the chicken bone into the pan. Add the scallion pieces to the boiling sauce, while waiting for the boiling sauce, prepare cabbage, soun, been sprouts, potato wedges, egg slices, tomatoes and chicken meat already in suwir into the bowl. After that flush the ingredients in a bowl with soup Soto that has been cooked. Soto special chicken ready served . And will be better served in a state, still hot.

How to Make a Delicious Burasa'


If we talk about food in this fasting month it seems you want to break fasting. But eitss!! now I will introduce some food suitable for your fasting menu, especially when Eid Fitri come, this food is very suitable served with steeping "Coto" which is also typical of Sulawesi. This food is called Burasa. Burasa is one of the traditional food  from Sulawesi, with basic ingredients made from rice and coconut milk , resulting in a distinctive flavor. Then wrapped in banana leaf and tied with rapiah rope.

For those of you who want to try Burasa ', there are some ingredients that  you  need like 1 ltr of rice, 2 coconuts, one tablespoon of salt, and water.

We also use some tools such as frying pan, spatula, rice spoon, large container, big pot, banana leaf and rapiah rope.

Well! Now we already know all of the materials and tools you should use in making Burasa'. Now we go about making Burasa'.

First things, we do is to soak the rice with clean water for 15 minutes, while grated coconut and then wring it up to be coconut milk. After that drain the rice that has been soaked, heat the shrimp containing with water coconut milk, after boiling add a tablespoon of salt and stir, then input the rice that has been drained and stir until coconut milk absorbed. Wait for half to boil then lift and drain.

The next step, is the wrapping stage. Take banana leaves that have been prepared, then wrap the rice according to your own. Once everything is wrapped in a bundle using a rapiah rope.


For the final step, input banana leaves according to the size of the pot as a base. After that set the Burasa’ that have been wrapped, then pour the water into the pan containing the Burasa’ to spread all over the surface of the Burasa'. Wait until cooked (if the banana leaves turn into brownish color).

And ready to serve
