How to Make Buras (Indonesian Traditional Food)

Buras or Burasa (Bugineese) is a traditional food from Sulawesi especially Makassar. In Makassar there is two suku those are Bugineese and Makassarnese. But now, I will explain about how to make Buras Makassar. But Actually we can say that Buras and Burasa is same.  Only the pronounciation and the writing differentiate it. 

Before we make the Buras, we have to prepare the ingredients. Those are 1 liter of good quality rice, 3 bay leaves (washed), 3/4 liter of coconut milk, salt adequately, Banana leaves for wrap up the Buras, adequately.

And then, steam the rice that we wash before. Steam it until completely clean and its half cooked. After that, take it and put it into basin. Then, pour the coconut milk, add the salt, and bay leaves to the half cooked rice. After that, mix it nicely until the coconut milk seep to the half rice cooked rice.

Next, resteam it until cook completely and soft for 15-20 minutes. Then raise it. After that take the Buras rice for covered with banana lAnnyeong d then tie it (use string of raffia) 3-4 knots. Do this untill the end of process or untill all the Buras rice covered with all banana leaves. The size for 1 Buras is rectangle form, we can tie 3 or 4 wrap of Buras together.

Then, resteam the Buras again for 40 minutes. After that, raise it and put it into a place and....

Ready to reserved!

How to Make Soto Ayam

This is the second recipe and how to make Soto Ayam. The ingredients we need, those are 500 gr chickens chest, 250 or cabbage, 250 gr soun,  items chicken's egg, 2 slices bay leaf, 2 slices orange's leaf, 4 sheets of Leek, 1 lemongrass. 1 segment galangal, 2 orange, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp broth powder.

After prepare the main ingredients, we need also to prepare the flavour. Those are 2 segmentz ents grilled turmeric, 1 segment grilled ginger, 1 tsp Coriander, 5 candle nut,  5 cloves onion, and 5 cloves garlic.

After prepare the ingredients and the flavour, we move to the first step to make Soto Ayam. Boiled the chicken with galangal and Lemongrass, add some water, and wait until it cooked and until the water boiled. And then, boiled the soun untill it cooked and boiled the chicken's eggs also until it cooked (different place with soun). After that, blend the Flavour untill smooth. Then  heat the oil, saute the flavour until its fragrant and put also the Orange's leaves, bay leaves, and the lemongrass into it.

And then strain the broth, set aside the boiled chicken's chest then slice the chicken into small size and put it in the different place. And then re-enter the broth, add the flavour (that we have made previous) to the boiled water and put in the leeks also with it.

Then add the Salt, broth powder and sugar (suitable with your desire). After that slice the cabbage or cauliflower. And Put it into a bawl. And then, put in the Soun, small sizes chicken also then put those are into the same bowl with the cauliflower. After that, Put a boiled egg, fried union, and add liquid citrus (if you want / optional). And then the Soto Ayam is ready to reserved.

How to Make Lempok Durian (Traditional Cake)

Lempok Durian is one of Indonesian tradisional cake, especially from Pontianak,  west Kalimantan, Indonesia. Lempok Durian is very famous in Pontianak and people always buy this after they visit in Pontianak.

Durian is The main material to make Lempok Durian. Previously, Lempok Durian is the utilization of abundant durian fruit during the harvest season in Pontianak, so people make another food to utilize the abundant durian fruit. And one of the food is Lempok Durian. After Time by time past, it has a big development. Finally,  it becomes one of traditional cake of Pontianak, West kalimantan.

And that's all little bit abot the history of Lempok Durian. Let's start to make it!

The materials we need, are ripe Durian  as much as 4-5 kg, 1 tsp salt, and 1 kg sugar. After that , prepare the tools to make the Lempok Durian. Those are, furnace, big knife, plastic wrapping mixer,  and casserole. AFter we Prepare all of these things, we move to the part of how to make it.

Firstly, open the durian and grab the content. And separate the fruit with the contents. Put the sugar, the fruit, and the salt into the pot palaced on the stove. If you don't have a stove, you can make it by your self. To make the stove, cut a drum into two part and make a wooden hole.

After that, stir the material in the pot contemporary for 3-4 hours. I suggest you, don't make it along because you will be tired to stir it along. And don't forget, it is better don't use a big fire in the stove. You have to concerned with your Lempok Durian. After you finish the stirring, you have to know when it is ready to raise. But I will tell you, the Lempok durian will be ready to raise with look it is sticking ot not in stirring.

And then, cut the Lempok Durian being a similar form with Dodol (rectangle) in generally. To make you easier when cut the Lempok, use a big knife then cut it. After that, use plastic to cover the Lempok you cut previous. Finally, Lempok Durian is ready to reserved!

It is easy right?!  So, what are you waiting for? Practice it in your kitchen. Hehe

STORY LINE:

     This movie tells the story of the life of the non-existant and evolved dinasurus that they can cultivate as human beings, and in this main man himself looks like a primitive wild creature. That's because humans at that time a human cave that is still primitive. In this movie raised the story of a family dinasaur type Apatosaurus who has a son named Arlo who became the main character. Arlo himself is the youngest of three children: Libby who is the first child and Buck the second child. Arlo himself is a coward child and has no self-confidence and is often hounded by his brother. He meets a cave boy who steals their land and makes his father die. And make Arlo also lost and stranded away from his house after he chased the cave boy. On her way back to Arlo's home she had many things from her friend to the cave boy and she named Spot, after which she met an animal that could be camouflaged with a tree nearby and almost captured by some Pterodactyls who wanted to eat Spot. After which he met with 3 Tyrannosaurus, when they almost got to Arlo's house they met another caveman. When they were near the two of them again attacked by the Pterodactyls it made them drifting by the flood. When they had reached the top of the mountain they could both see Arlo's house from a distance, but before that Spot had met his family again they both separated and Arlo returned to his family and they returned together

REVIEW:

     What's up?? Readers this time I will review a pretty interesting film that is "The Good Dinosaur" which is the work of Disney and Pixar. First of all i never miss to watch the film produced either from disney or pixar especially for pixar because almost all the movies produced by Pixar i have just watch the example WALL-E, Ratatouille, The Incredibles, Toy Story, Cars,Brave, A Bug's Life, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, Up , and Inside Out. There's nothing I miss including this movie The Good Dinosaur. Therefore I will review this movie.

     The Good Dinosaur begins with a supposition, what if dinosaurs did not become extinct and remained inhabiting the earth for millions of years, until it could live a single age with the human species. The film also continues the supposition with quite interesting and funny. The dinosaurs evolved to produce their own food, both in terms of farming, including plowing the land in a straight line, raising, or making their own homes, without having to change its anatomy as a dinosaur.

     For the first part in the film itself shows No dinosaur extinction makes the earth become rich in interesting species. Starting from the forerunner species of poultry and modern mammals, small and gigantic insects, and of course, humans. Given The Good Dinosaur takes the perspective of the 'civilized' dinosaurs, man is considered a wild creature who can not speak because it is still primitive.

     The story in this movie itself is simple but can be easily understood the story path and the meaning that is in this movie itself. The story of this movie itself tells the story of a dinosaur named Arlo who wandered looking for a way home accompanied by a cave boy. On his way Arlo gets a life lesson on how he can live independently in the wild and how he can overcome his fearful nature and he can get lots of friends until he can get back together with his family.

     As in some of the films produced by Pixar that mostly raise the story of life. The Good Dinosaur I think has a story that is almost the same as the films produced by Pixar, for example in the movie "Finding Nemo" which also tells about how about a father who seeks his son and in his own journey he also met with many animals and also can Changing his stubborn and overly protective attitude towards his son eventually became believers and allowed his son to be free in determining his decision. However, because of the simplicity of this movie so we can easily understand the story and we do not need much time to digest the meaning of this movie.

     So, the conclusion that I can take from this film that a simple film is not always boring and not interesting to watch, the proof of this film itself is an interesting movie to watch because in addition to an interesting story and can be easily understood also has some funny scenes and have A very good display is not inferior to films that have been produced by Pixar and Disney.

    The good dinosaur is a film that tells of a dinosaur family. This family consists of Henry(father), Ida(mother), Libby, Buck, and Arlo. But doesn't like Henry and Buck, Arlo is different from his siblings. Arlo is a timid child. One day, Arlo met a little boy named spot. At first Arlo disliked the spot, but over time they became friends. They help each other until finally Spot and Arlo meet with their families respectively.

    The Good Dinosaur tells about a living dinosaur species. Here is told a family who owns a plot of land planted with corn. This family has 3 children, namely Libby, Buck, and Arlo. But Arlo is a cowardly child, and he is also the smallest of the two siblings. So Arlo has not get a chance to taste the soles of his feet in a food storage. But Arlo keeps trying and working hard. And his father (Henry) gives a job to Arlo to keep their food storage, and to encourage Arlo to keep working hard.

    Once upon a time, Arlo encountered a small child who was in the storeroom, and ate the corn in it. Arlo and Henry chased the little boy. Because the weather was bad at the time, even there was a disaster. Henry slipped and fell into a rushing stream, until finally Henry died.

    After the incident, Arlo reunite with the little boy and chase after him. Arlo hated the boy very much. When chasing the child, Arlo fell into the river and carried away the current, until finally he was lost. Arlo tries to get back to her house. And he met again with the little boy, and the boy turned out to be Spot. Spot wants to help Arlo, and he also searches and feeds Arlo. That's where Arlo felt touched, and then he became close and friendly with Spot. So many obstacles they go through as they try to find their way back home. Spot was stolen by a bird and Arlo fell into a bush and bound by tree branches and unconscious. That's where Arlo dreamed of his father. He thought his father was alive, and Henry told Arlo to help Spot. Suddenly Henry disappears and Arlo comes out of his dream. Then Arlo tried to escape from the ikatab and run for Spot. He later found the Spot on the bank of a river that was plagued by some birds. Arlo immediately helped Spot. After Arlo was trying to fight the bird, suddenly a rushing stream of water approached Spot, Arlo quickly rescued Spot and they were swept away by a torrent stream so Spot was unconscious.

    After Spot was aware, they resumed their journey. Previously they had met with other dinosaurs who helped them to find the way back home. And finally they arrived. And when Spot met her long-separated family, and the spot finally returned to her family. And Arlo also meets with her family, mother and her two siblings (Libby and Buck). Then Arlo went straight to the storeroom and stamped the soles of his feet there. Finally the stamp of their feet is complete, and Arlo has gathered with his family.

    This story is very interesting to watch, because the animadi or the characters played is very amazing, and the arrangement of the picture is amazing. The story is also housed in the natural environment (forests, mountains, rivers, and cliffs). This is a story that uses beautiful scenery, like the original scene.

    This story is also very easy to understand. So interesting to watch by looking at each character figure. Despite a lot of sadness in it, but still inserted some cuteness in it. Therefore this story can touch the hearts of the audience.

How to Make Barongko Sweet Traditional Cake

Hello guys!!

        This time I will give you the most favorite cake recipe. This cake is a typical food of Makassar which is also a favorite in my family. Of course Because  taste  is good and soft. So the cake  called  Barongko based of Banana, so for you who have a lot of bananas in your house, you can try to make Barongko from the Banana it  just stay up to rotten, more better if you try it with your friends or your family. So to make Barongko we need Materials such as 1 Banana mashed ripe combo, 70 grams of sugar, 1/4 can of sweetened condensed milk, 4 eggs, 400 ml coconut milk from 1/2 grated coconut and 1/4 tsp salt . So the materials are quite easy to find in nearby markets. The tools we use are Banana leaves, Knives, blender, cormorant for steaming.

After that we go to the stage of making Barongko firstly Peel the banana and then cut into pieces, then discard the middle so as not to disturb the color when it is cooked,

Afterwards Put all the ingredients into the blender then blend until smooth, after that Wrap with banana leaves according to your taste, and the last steam Barongko until ripe for 20 minutes. After banana leaf color become brown, remove and ready to serve. This trick is easy for you, so  guys lets try.

STORY LINES:

Formerly under the mountain clowtooth lived the dinasaur family who are waiting for the birth of his children while managing his garden. Henry and Ida have small Libby, Buck, and Arlo kids. Arlo is the smallest child among his siblings who are big enough among them, Arlo also need time to adapt themselves to the circumstances surrounding it. Nah from that, libby as the first child in the task of making a garden and buck assigned to remove the trees that exist around the environment while Arlo only assigned to feed the pet. But Arlo is a cowardly dinasaur kid on something new that takes time to adapt. The purpose of the task is to give her a sense of responsibility to herself marked as a footprint in her food shelter. Buck and libby have done its task while Arlo yet. Then that's the father Arlo gave him the additional task to give him courage, that is by catching the thieves of food that is around him. Arlo was assigned to catch the Caveboy by trap. At the time the Caveboy was caught by a trap Arlo caught him and scared so release it. Dad was disappointed and brought Arlo into the forest through the river to catch the Caveboy. Shortly thereafter the disaster occurred and father Arlo drifted by the swift flooding in the river.

Without his father, Arlo increasingly eager to get his identity. At some point Arlo see the caveboy and chase it down into a river that has a strong current while Arlo cannot swim and then Arlo unconscious and drifting. Realizing, Arlo finds out where he is and that's when his feet are stuck on a rock. And the next day Arlo’s feet can be separated from the stone thanks to the caveboy's help. Then, the caveboy brought the food for the Arlo and in the end the caveboy showed where the food he got. But Arlo fell off the cliff and will be attacked by the snake but the caveboy saved the Arlo. Then an eccentric Styracosaurus wanted to take the caveboy if he gave it a name and responded to the name but only the name of the cloeboy's Arlo was a "Spot" response from which their friendship was originally interwoven. By the time Arlo finds his way home his home suddenly rains hard with accompanying thunderstorms and Arlopun wandering and hiding behind the tree roots that he realized there was a Spot that accompanied him. At the time of the trip they found some pterodactyls and approached the birds pterodactyls were carnivore animals and wanted to eat Spot but escape and Arlo, the Spot was protected by Nash, Ramsey, and their father Butch had lost their longhorn flock.

They find the herd, but Butch recognizes the work of cattle rustlers, and uses Arlo as bait. Arlo and Spot drew the attention of Velociraptors rustler, which allowed Butch and his family to attack. During the fight, Arlo undermines his courage and fends off two raptors who have beaten Butch, helping to change the battles they love. After gaining their respect, Arlo joins T. Rexes in riding cattle in the south as he sees a known mountain peak in his distant homeland, and goes with Spot to return home. Along the way, they find a wild man in the distance in the distance, and though Spot shows interest, Arlo helps him.

At the time of parting on the street by a friend who rescued his, pterodactyls again attacked them and took a further Spots to eat. Arlo is not discouraged and keep looking for Spot and finally Spot found in the river and will be eaten by pterodactyls but Arlo attack the pterodactyls and save the Spot that is in the river until finally they fall in a waterfall.

By the time he is awake he is close to the mountain of clowtooth and keeps walking towards that mountain. But he meets a bunch of human families that is a long-lost Spot family. Arlo told the Spot to be with his family so that she would go home alone and be greeted by his mother and get his footnotes.

MY OPINION: I am very proud from this film because, I got the point by point in this film. I understood how the important a responsibility. I knew, how important a family. I am happy to watch this film. I do hope this film be able to be inspiration.
